PEGGY WINIFRED STASUIK
September 28, 1923 - April 27, 2022
With sadness, the family announces the passing of Peggy on April 27, 2022 at the Riverview Health Centre.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Raymond (Doris); daughter Beverley (Francois); grandchildren, David (Aubrey) and Jason (Laura); and great-grandson Ethan; along with nieces and nephews, Claire (Glen) (Karishma and Jasmine), Ken (Shelley), Joan (Nigel), Sandra (Gordon), Carol (Jim) and Audrey (Joe).
Peggy was born in London, England and came to Canada as a war bride. She farmed in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan with her late husband William, eventually moving to Fraserwood, Manitoba where they opened their store / garage. Peggy later worked for the Seven Oaks School Division and volunteered at Luther Home for teas and activities. She was also an avid knitter for the Christmas Cheer Board.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Heart to Home Meals, home care, the Health Sciences Centre and the Riverview Health Centre for all their compassion, care and support.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.

The members of the Sunday picnic group are getting fewer and fewer with the passage of time. Jean Judt went to the US and was never heard from again. The only parent left is Phyllis Gelhorn. There were many memorable events and much fun to cherish. The peace of the Lord be with you. Kathy & David Murdoch - Posted by: Kathy (Deibert) Murdoch (Family Freind) on: May 12, 2022

Ray and family, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember you mentioning how your mom would go on vacations (flying) and you picking her up at the airport. I was amazed at her stamina! Prayers are with you at this sad time. - Posted by: Lorraine Bryck (Friend) on: May 08, 2022
