CLAUDE TETRAULT
February 16, 1940 - May 20, 2022

We all said our good-byes to our dad, grandpa and husband on the evening of May 20. Claude was surrounded by the love of his family, until God called him home.
Claude was born on February 16, 1940, the eldest child of Lionel and Lina. He grew up in a large French-Canadian family, which included his eight siblings, Gerald (Sharon), Alain (Alice), Colete and Ben (Gail). He was predeceased by Suzette, Mona, Marc and Cecelia.
Claude enlisted in the U.S. Air Force with his Uncle Roger. He was stationed in Texas, Alaska and California, U.S.A.
In 1964, he married Trudi, and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage, plus four children, Danita, Dion (Rose), Mardina (David) and Marika (Don). Claude was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Alexander, Katrina, Jake, Kristina, Bryan, Monique, Drew, Jack, Elizabeth, Robert, Julius, Sadie and Maximus. Also, two great-grandchildren, Karolina and Natalie. Claude loved his family and was loved in return. He was always generous with his time with his grandkids, and they all have special memories of their grandpa.
In keeping with Claude's wishes, he will be buried in the "Traditional Earth Burial."

"From dust thou cometh,
unto dust thou shalt return."

A special "Thank You" to Mardina, the designated visitor, who was allowed in the hospital, where she went twice a day, everyday, and stayed for hours, to be with her dad, for the three weeks he was in the hospital.
We would like to acknowledge Dieter Schwerinski for his wonderful friendship to Claude over many years. Also, thank you to Myron May for all his help.
Rest in peace, dear Claude, until we meet again. Au Revoir!
Funeral service will be on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Interment will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Livestream available through church website at:
