It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Joseph Lucier at the age of 91.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Yvonne and his oldest son Bradley. "Chocolate" as he was known by most, is survived by his sons, Darryl, Raymond, Dwayne and his daughters, Pamma, Colinda, Crystal, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grand-children, his three remaining siblings, Rene, Irene and Edna, special friend Karen, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Chocolate was a quiet man who enjoyed his coffee and bannock. In his earlier days he could often be found at the nearest coffeeshop getting the life stories of all he met. He held a special place in his heart for the laughter of young children and lived for the days when they surrounded him. His coffee cup is empty now and he will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to the staff at Actionmarguerite Saint-Boniface for their kind and gentle care.
As per Albert's wishes a small prayer and viewing will take place Saturday, June 4, 2022, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Winnipeg, MB R2J 4J4 followed by cremation and a private graveside service at a later date.
