GILLES BERARD
Peacefully, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, surrounded by family at Jocelyn House, Gilles Berard passed away at the age of 74 years.
Gilles will be lovingly remembered by his children, Phil (Michelle), Denis, and Ray; their mother Gisele; his brother Maurice (Dianna); grandchildren, Kristen, Shawn, Kiera, Eric, Evan, Owen, Kaylum, Aden; numerous nieces and nephew and extended family.
Gilles loved playing and coaching his beer league hockey team the Puck Hogs! He loved playing cards, attending Bingo and most of all spending time with his family and friends. The love he had for his grandchildren was second to none. He was a humble and quiet man that always had a joke and smile for everyone.
A celebration of Gilles' life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
Special thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses, health care aides, and support staff at Jocelyn House for all their loving care given to Gilles and his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Gilles to Jocelyn House.

My deepest condolences to Gilles' family for your loss. Gilles was a great guy. Loved joking around with him in our younger days. He was a die hard Detroit Red Wings fan.
