ALLISON WORONUIK
1969 - 2022
With deep sorrow I announce the passing of my daughter Allison on July 31, 2022 after a brief illness.
She was the light of my life and my best friend. She loved to keep in touch with her many friends as far back as grade school, close family and friends and new co-workers. She enjoyed working with plants and loved her job at Paterson Greenhouse.
From a little girl she looked forward to spending summers at the lake in Flin Flon and continued to the present. She would take her boat and the dogs and go fishing for the day. Projects at the cabin were her passion and kept her very busy. In fact she was packing to leave for the cabin when she got ill.
She was predeceased by her mother (Jamie Wardle) in 1999. Left to mourn are her father (Jim Woronuik), two rescue dogs Garvey and Esther, cats Finigan, Mia and Darby.
Allison will rest with her mother Jamie, grandmother (Dodie Wardle) and her many pets.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to any pet rescue or animal shelter.

To Jim. We were all shocked when this news came to us about Allison passing away. I am part of the small group of friends from Darwin school that talked with her about the old days of Darwin and Dakota when we grew up. I just talked with her a week before her passing she was getting ready for a cottage run as she always did and loved doing, For the small group of us that kept in contact with her, we will miss her phone calls, and her laughter will never be forgotten.. Allison your small group of Darwin friend are missing you!! Rodney Ogden. (Oggie) - Posted by: Rodney Ogden (High school friend ) on: Dec 08, 2022

Sincere condolences to you, Jim, and to Allison's many friends (human and animal) in Winnipeg and Flin Flon. Allison was a warm, compassionate person, with a special affection for her animal "familY". Her life was far too short. She will be missed! Oh Jim, I am deeply saddened and shocked with this news. I send you warm caring hugs for this loss. Allison and I would always talk a few times a year, mostly around Christmas time discussing making Nannies' shortbread and when she was cabin bound. We would share memories of days at the cabin..especially about when Jamie and I were there in our youth. They were some of my fondest childhood memories. Allison was such a caring person with endless talents..This does not seem possible..my heart goes out to you. Kindly, Ronalee - Posted by: Ronalee Jones (family) on: Aug 06, 2022
