After teaching for a few years in St. Anne, St. Geneviève and La Broquerie, she took the path to adventure to teach in the small village of Boggy Creek in the northwest part of the province. It was there that she met Laurent and they were married on August 12, 1953. Shortly after beginning their married life in San Clara they moved to Winnipeg where they raised their family. Clémence worked for several years at the St-Boniface Library in the children's section where her favourite activity was to delight the children with new stories during story hour, an activity that she was able to continue with her own grandchildren after her retirement. During their retirement Laurent and Clémence also travelled extensively, road trips throughout the United States and Canada as well as overseas trips, including a visit to the Holy Land and the Vatican. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

- Posted by: Lorraine Tetrault (amie) on: Sep 10, 2022
