SHEELAGH STORNEL
March 9, 1954 - August 24, 2022

With deep sadness we announce the death of Sheelagh Anne Stornel, August 24, 2022, age 68, while surrounded by family at Saint Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.
Born in Yorkshire, England on March 9, 1954, Sheelagh's family immigrated to Canada when she was very young. Sheelagh worked in the world of finance, starting as a teller at TD Bank where she was employed for many years, then moving to Cambrian Credit Union in various positions until her retirement.
Sheelagh's life was filled with adventure, friends (both human and animal) and passions. She regularly attended games of her two favourite sports teams, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets. Over the years she travelled often; never one to do much more than put up with the cold, she was always excited to get away to some place warm in the dead of winter.

There will be a celebration of Sheelagh's life taking place October 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 Des Meurons Street.
