I had the pleasure of working for Michio some years back. A good, kind and fair man who I had great respect for. I'm so sorry for your loss and this sad news. May God grace you with peace. - Posted by: Gail Iwaniw (Past employee ) on: Oct 10, 2022

May and family, we extend our families condolences, Our family knew Michio when he came over with Sekine Manufacturing in the early to mid 70’s. He lived two houses from ours on same street in what was Oza-we-Kwun. You grew up in Wheatlands. I can remember when you two started dating. A relationship you read about in story books. Yours was a forever. Michio was a consummate gentleman. An entrepreneur that experienced several roles with ups and downs but was a survivor. Absolute class. Great friend. Be well. - Posted by: Shawn Price (Business associate, friend) on: Sep 24, 2022

I want to first offer my sincere condolences to May & Ariyoshi on the loss of a great Husband & Dad. My late husband Paul & Michio were not only Brothers-in-law but good friends as well. When those two were together, one could always hear them discussing world affairs, politics, life in general etc. Michio was a master chef with the BBQ & always was a great host, a perfect gentleman & host. May he & Daughter Yuri both RIP. - Posted by: Mona DeMeyer (sister-in-law) on: Sep 21, 2022

May and Ari, Please accept our deepest condolences for the loss of your Husband and Father. We will miss greatly the memorable times, enjoyed over the years, of the times spent with Michio and yourselves during our visits to your home. As a Brother-In-Law, Michio was second to none and will forever be remembered for his kindness. Our times together, around the BBQ, with Michio doing the chores, will be fondly remembered. Rest in peace Michio, until we meet again. Marie & Jules - Posted by: Julius Knuyver (Family Member (Brother-in-law).) on: Sep 19, 2022
