JUSTINE (STELLA) DENESIUK
(nee KULBABA)
November 16, 1925 September 8, 2022
Stella Denesiuk passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
Much loved, she will be greatly missed, and forever cherished, by her daughters Shirley and Linda (Mark). She will also be missed by her loving cat, Mimi.
She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas (1994), daughter Debi (1998), and son-in-law Aurele LeClaire (2020).
Stella was the second youngest of ten children of Lucas and Maria Kulbaba from Sandhill, Manitoba. She was predeceased by all of her siblings, as well as so many extended family members, neighbours, and friends. With quiet grace and fierce determination, Stella enjoyed her life, she worked hard, and she gave thanks and expressed gratitude often. She honoured simple kindness and goodness.
Respecting Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
Thanks are extended to Dr. Darcy Johnson and Dr. Kyle Hancock for looking after Mom for almost 40 years. We also wish to thank the Home Care Nurses and the Palliative Care team at the St. Boniface Hospital for their professional and compassionate care of Mom during her final days.

Condolences to you Shirley, Linda (Mark) and Mimi for loss of Stella “Your Mom”. ❤️ She will be forever missed. When I first moved in to this area and married Larry she was part of the welcoming committee and always treated me great. Her wonderful hugs I cherish. Stella always would wish us Birthday greetings and call us keeping in touch and visa versa. She loved seeing what Bird I had or pupper I was cuddling. I pray we can all meet again on the other side. So hard to lose those we love so much. Heartfelt prayers and love to her family. May she be at peace. Larry and Patsy 🙏🥰❤️ - Posted by: Larry and Patricia (Friends and neighbors ) on: Oct 23, 2022

My most sincere condolences to Shirley, Linda and families. Your mom was friends with my grandmother Sophie Loran, and she was so kind to me for many years while I lived with my grandparents. Her home made Ukrainian cooking was the best, her garden was always amazing! Gina - Posted by: Gina Remillard (Loran) (Friend to Debi, Neighbor for many years) on: Sep 17, 2022
