MARCEL LABOSSIERE
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marcel Labossiere on September 15, 2022, born July 13, 1950 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Ann of 48 years; sister Gisele (Brittany and Chris); brother Lucien; nieces, Mag (Danny), Liz (Lloyd); great-nieces and nephews, Reine ("Cakes"), Harley (Christine), Pyper, Kyra, Arianna, Jaiya, Trenton and Maliya.
Marcel was predeceased by his parents; sister Suzanne; brother Antoine; great-niece Rielle; and Ann's parents. Marcel shared a special bond with his mother-in-law, Clarice Montgomery, who joined Ann and Marcel on many of their travels.
Marcel and Ann shared a love for traveling, with some of Marcel's favourite destinations being Hong Kong, England, Scotland and the many bus tours and cruises they took and met lifelong friends. Marcel was a very proud member of the Acacia Lodge #111 as a free mason, where he served as a worshipful master twice. He had a kind and generous heart. He volunteered for many years as a driver for cancer care, loved family parties and gatherings of any kind. He was well known for his "long winded" story telling, which Ann often teased him for. He always had a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and really enjoyed a good burger!
As per his wishes, Marcel will be cremated and there will be no service held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Masonic cancer care vans.
