So sad to hear this terrible news. So many great times in school and what an amazing athlete! I had a long chat with Dean about a month ago. Was so nice to catch up with him. Hope you are on the water somewhere Dean and still golfing. Thinking of you my friend. ❤️🩹 Dina - Posted by: Dina Sourisseau (Melillo) (School friend) on: Oct 01, 2022

So shocking and so sorry to hear. Apart from family gatherings I go to know Dean when I sat for him and Heather while I went to University. I had much respect for him as a father and husband. He will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Holly Krysko (Cousin In-Law) on: Sep 28, 2022

Gone too soon-never more apt than in the case of Dean. Many great memories of bird hunting at Hamiota with "the crew", and other places including Hardesty's. Dean was a great son to his dad Donny (also gone too soon). He was a fine man who will be missed by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to Heather, the boys and Tanis. - Posted by: John Milne (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2022

So sad to hear the news about Dean. So many great memories of curling with Dean, making it to the Tankard twice but so many laughs and good time just playing in bonspiels and hanging out after games. Dean was a master story/joke teller and no better guy to sit and have a beer with. Our deepest condolences to Heather and the boys as well as his mom and their entire family. - Posted by: Greg Ziemanski and Pam Durston (Friends) on: Sep 27, 2022

Unbelievable news that my old friend has passed suddenly. Spent countless hours with him, Heather and the McDonald family. I was there when Tanner said his first swear word while Dean and I watched some unmemorable "VCR" movie, we howled with laughter. Or the time he drove my car and put it into the ditch on the way to Winnipeg to see a movie in the Winter and Heather laughing going Dean, Dean! A great guy who I enjoyed so much and should have got together with more! My condolences to Heather, the boys, Mrs. McDonald, Kim/Tim, Lee/Gardiner and all the kids! - Posted by: Jamie Wardrop (Friend) on: Sep 27, 2022
