CATHERINE WALLACE
Catherine Brereton Wallace (nee Jenson) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Douglas Murray Wallace.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Murray Wallace (Sean) and Craig Douglas Wallace (Alexandria) and family.
She worked as a secretary at Westwood Presbyterian Church.
She demonstrated her love by volunteering for her church, rainbow walk, and Grace Hospital.
Sharing her gifts with skill and grace, she enjoyed: playing golf and bridge, sewing, crafts, flower arranging, gardening and chocolate making. She loved her wine and soda and "best of bridge" cookbooks, all the things that make life better.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

Craig and Scott please accept our condolences. I [Ian] have many fond memories of working with your Mom. She was supportive, conscientious, diligent and welcoming. Together with Colena, she attempted to keep me grounded, though even when it was obvious she had had reservations about some idea (that didn't quite pan out), she never once said 'I told you so!' [at least to me]. She handled sensitive situations with discretion and care and heard calmly my rants [probably far too many]. On a recent visit back to Winnipeg, I was able to have a good nostalgic phone visit. May you and your family and all who delighted to be your Mom's friend experience God's comforting presence.
