PATRICIA HOCKLEY
Patricia Hockley (nee Howie) of Winnipeg, MB, passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 94.
She was married to Stanley Hockley (deceased) for 65 years. They had three daughters together: Mary Lou Hockley (deceased), Kathleen Hockley and Suellen Kelly (nee Hockley). Patricia loved her grandchildren: Karl Hockley (wife Kristi), Nick Kelly, Sydney Winter (husband Steve), Kaitlyn Harzan, and Lana Baglole (deceased). Patricia also enjoyed her great-grandchildren: Kole and Kiera Hockley, Isaac Smith, and Sophie and Miley Winter.
Patricia had a great sense of humour and could always find something to smile about. She was very musical. She always had a song to sing and loved to dance. Pat was an accomplished seamstress. She had great style and was a big shopper. Shoes and jackets were her passion. Patricia was a gifted writer. One of her jobs in her youth was writing jingles for a radio station. Later she wrote poetry and short stories.
Patricia was a wonderful wife, mom grandmother and sister. We each had a loving and special relationship with her. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a family Celebration of Life in the spring.
