ROOKOOMANEE (SODA) ATMAROW

My Mom was born on the island of Mauritius on March 15, 1952. She arrived in Winnipeg, Canada, from London, England in early 1979. She met my Dad and they were married December of 1979. She became a Canadian Citizen in June of 1990.
Soda is survived by her only child, Curtis and his wife Pricilla.
Her long battle with cancer started in 2014. In spite of all the treatments in Vancouver and Winnipeg for cancer, she had a major heart attack followed by a stroke on November 10 and sadly she passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on November 17 at the age of 70.
The viewing service will be held on Thursday, November 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.

Mom, you were such a kind-hearted person and loving mother, always so strong and caring. You can now rest in peace. Love you always Mom. You will be missed.
