OLIVER (BRUNO) WILLIAMS

It's with profound sadness that we announce that on Thursday, November 17, 2022, Oliver Daniel Addington Williams passed away at the age of 69 years old.
Oliver was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and immigrated to Winnipeg 1973.
Oliver is remembered by his wife of 47 years, Annette, daughter Camille, sons Oliver, Trenton, Dale, and Terrance, his grandchildren and sisters Jannett, Jacqueline, Valerie, Bronte, Bev, Donna and Desiree.
Oliver was a man who was loved and very respected by everyone who crossed his path. An accomplished salesman who spent over 40 years in the automotive industry, Oliver always exceeded expectations and created an unbelievable network of clients who he eventually became friends with.
A lover of music, Oliver could spend hours singing around the house and creating an infectious, positive environment for anyone who was around, he always made everyone feel like they were family.
A practicing Buddhist Oliver would chant and share many stories of how to look at the world in a positive manner and to control what you can control and to always find a way. In his mind there were no problems, just solutions.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation may be made in lieu of flowers.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Hong and the staff on the 4th and 5th floor at the ICU in St. Boniface Hospital.

  • I just learned of Oliver‘s passing today, and I am very sorry for your loss. As a long-standing General Motors person, with Murray Chevrolet being my latest dealership, I always looked forward to being greeted by Oliver. It really was like walking towards sunshine. Blessings for peace & strength... - Posted by: Susan (Customer) on: May 08, 2023

  • I had the pleasure of working with Oliver (Bruno) for 20 + years at Park Pontiac but he was much more than a coworker, he was a great friend and a mentor in career and life. We watched each other's kids grow from boyz to men...(pun intended). Although Oliver was one of the most successful salespeople, I've ever met in my 40 + years in the automotive industry, he was most proud of his family and their many accomplishments. His positivity that he spread to all he crossed paths with, his smile, his laugh, and his love of life will be what I remember and miss the most. My deepest condolences from my family, to his, especially Annette, Dale, Terrance, and the grandkids. I love you and I'll miss you my friend so please work on that golf game until we meet again. To all his many friends, coworkers, customers, and all those who crossed his path, please raise a glass over the holidays to Oliver, cherish those you love, and smile. He'd like that! - Posted by: Grant Drowsy (friend / coworker) on: Dec 12, 2022

  • Hello Annette, I’m not sure if you remember me from 4ECU but, I learned of your husband’s passing from Collette who also worked there. I am so very sorry for your loss and your family’s loss. I used to call you “mum” sometimes as I thought you were a beautiful person & it sounds as though your husband was a beautiful man. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your children for your loss. Sincerely, Sharlene K. - Posted by: Sharlene Klymuik (former coworker at 4 ECU ST Boniface ) on: Dec 04, 2022
