GEORGE DARE
August 11, 1940 - November 21, 2022
It is with great sadness the family of George Dare announces his passing.
George was predeceased by his parents Inez and Clarence Dare. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Patricia, brother Tom (Irene), sister Miriam (Rick), children Suzanne, Lynne (Bill), Christine (Rob), George (Andrea), nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren, as well as extended family including two children, four grand-children and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 3, 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. All are invited to attend. This obituary can also be viewed at www.cropo.com

There are way too many memories to mention when it comes to Mr. Dare. Seeing him outside when I parked in the back, and hearing him say "Ho, Tim!" was always a sign of being home. He would regularly wander over to see what was happening, and enjoy a "spot of tea" with Dad (Ted). We will truly miss him, and I may never know how much rain we got in a particular storm ever again. :) There was always a certain calmness I would feel when I'd be struggling with something I was working on in the back yard, and I'd look over and see Mr. Dare reading a book in his deck chair. So very sorry to learn of George’s passing. George was one of my first childhood friends, having lived 2 houses down from him. I only saw George the odd time in later years, but have fond memories of him as always being a nice guy. - Posted by: Don Shuturma (Old friend) on: Nov 27, 2022
