DIANNE BERNICE MARIE TUCK
1954 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, nana, sister, and friend, Dianne Bernice Marie Tuck (nee Berthelette). Dianne passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Germaine Berthelette as well as her husband Raymond Tuck.
Dianne was born at the St. Boniface Hospital on October 9, 1954. She spent the majority of her life as a health care aide at Meadowood Manor. On September 28, 2009 Dianne married the love of her life Raymond Tuck. Together, they shared their life, their love of fishing, and their long endless chats over coffee. But their favourite thing to do was spend time with their grandson Jace. They forged a bond that could never be broken. After Ray's untimely passing, Dianne was blessed with a second grandchild, Jesse Ray Berthelette.
Before Dianne's passing, she left a letter so that she could share her feelings eternally:
"I Mrs. Dianne Tuck (Berthelette) would like to say farewell to everyone that has touched my heart throughout my journey in life. I was blessed to have my boys Jody and Jarrod, and my two grandsons Jace and Jesse; daughter-in-law Jennifer, and Jarrod's former partner Bridget Hodgkinson, and my late husband Raymond Tuck that made my family complete.
I will now be in the arms of my loving parents Leon and Germaine Berthelette that have blessed me with five other siblings, Sharon Berthelette, Karen and Ed Papineau, Brian and Joan Berthelette, Gary Berthelette, Dale and Michelle Berthelette, and all my loving nieces and nephews, and all my friends.
To Jeanine Wimmer and Joyce and Ross Manning all I can say is I love you all and I am gone fishing with Ray.
Also thank you to Brian McDance for being there for me, and Doctor Chadbury at CancerCare for all you have done.
Throughout my life I had struggles, but I always lived within my means, the simple things in life made me happy, like making crafts with my grandson Jace. Jace teach your little brother Jesse to look up at the stars with you. Na-Na and Pa-Pa will hear your prayers."
To our mom and nana, you will be forever cherished, loved, and deeply missed.
Till we meet again.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Parish, located at 252 Dubuc Street. There will be a reception to follow.

I met Dianne when I was 19 years when I became a Health Care Aid at Meadowood Manor. She was one of my mentors. Meadowood was full of great mentors Dianne was no exception. I got close to Dianne very quickly. How could you not! She made it so easy. She was so kind so caring. You could talk to her about anything. Which is what I did. I looked up to her. I was young with kids and she always made feel like I could do anything. She talked so much about her life. She was inspiration. She talked so much about her boys. She had so much love to give and it showed in her work as a health care aid. Dianne was my mentor in work and life she an amazing, exceptional person. The kind of person you meet in your life time and never forget! I hope she knew how many people’s lives she touches. To her boys Jody and Jarrod I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost a beautiful human, mother and someone who took care of us and made us laugh but heaven and all those waiting for her gained a beautiful angle. I love Dianne and I’ll always miss RIP - Posted by: Michele choiselat (Friend/ coworker ) on: Dec 18, 2022

My daughter Dana and I lived next door to Dianne, Jody and Jarrod. We had many coffees on our picnic tables in the summer. Dianne was a very friendly outgoing person. She will be missed!💗 - Posted by: Kim Halipchuk nee Gray (Neighbour on St Anne’s Road) on: Dec 17, 2022
