It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, John.
He leaves to mourn, his son Gary (Kelly) and grandchildren Trevor and Karly. John was predeceased by his parents, Albert, and Anna; his wife Marge; and all six of his brothers and sisters.
As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A service and interment will take place when the weather is warmer. This obituary can be viewed at:

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Our sincere condolences Gary, Kelly, Trevor and Karly.... We are so very sorry to hear the news of John's passing. John and Marge have been our cottage neighbors since the beginning. So many years and so much of our "lake life" is tied to them and their family. We miss them and their strong presence at the lake. - Posted by: Ron and Lil Kozussek (Friend) on: Jan 30, 2023

  • Gary and family - I’m so sorry for your loss. I have some dear childhood memories being neighbours on Tudor. I often would get updates on how your Dad was doing from my Dad - they shared a nice friendship for many years. My sincerest condolences to you all, he was a kind respected man. - Posted by: Kimberley Turman (Neighbour ) on: Jan 22, 2023

  • I’m so sorry to hear this. John was a wonderful neighbor and always willing to strike a friendly conversation with me as a young boy. His friendship with my father Tony was treasured, continuing many years after we moved away. My sympathies to you Gary and family. - Posted by: Brent Turman (Neighbor) on: Jan 21, 2023
