ANGELINA DUHAMEL

Peacefully on January 24, 2023, after a brief illness, Angelina Duhamel passed away at the age of 102 years at Action Marguerite in Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her husband Marcien Duhamel on February 8, 2015 and her daughter Therese Blanc on December 12, 2010. Also predeceased by her brothers, Francois, Eugene, Adelard, Armand, Alfred, Rosario, Hormidas. Her sisters, Agnes, Albina, Henriette, Antoinette. She was the last of a large family.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Robert Blanc, Lise Meixner and (Luke Meixner). Her great-grandchildren, Desiree Blanc, Joey Meixner and Jeffrey Meixner. And her great-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Gabriel. And her many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
She was born Marie Angelina Irene Gauthier on January 6, 1921 to David and Malvina Gauthier. She was raised on a farm with her siblings. She loved her siblings very much and they had many good times together. Even though life was often tough in those years, she had many happy memories.
She married Marcien Duhamel on December 29, 1941. At the time of Marcien's death they had been happily married 74 years.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Action Marguerite for their care over the time she spent with them.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Green Acres Funeral Home Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg.
