• My dear friend Geo ( as I also called you). It has taken me a while to be able to write to you, as I am still struggling to coming to terms that you have passed. I take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place with the lord God, and that someday we will meet up again, and that you are now pain free. I want you to know that you do and will always carry a special place in my heart. You were the dearest of friends, even though for a few years we lost touch with busy lives and not living in the same province. I am so grateful that I was able to see you and tell you just how much you meant to me and how much I loved you. We had so many great times together, and I will always treasure the memories of those times, and your wonderful laugh that always warmed my heart. To Ray, Michelyn and Christian and their families I am so sorry for this devastating loss of your wife and mother. She was simply the best! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. • I had the distinct pleasure of working with Georgette for many years at Palliser. She was a delightful person to whom I could always share a laugh or a story. She spoke glowingly about her family; making it abundantly clear she loved them so much. We’d often run into each other at the Tim’s by Palliser after her retirement and I always left with a big smile on my face having seen her again.
