October 25, 1945 - January 25, 2023


Peacefully, on January 25, 2023, James (Jim) Malcolm Campbell passed away at home with family by his side.

He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Carol Grace (Templeton) Campbell 2022; his brother Bruce; and sisters-in-law Leslie in 2022 and Lynne Templeton in 2019.



Jim is survived by his siblings Calvin (Jean), Byron (Eileen), Ross (Judy) and Carolyn Cardiff (Randy) and his brother-in-law Jim Templeton and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was born to Duncan and Kathleen (Anderson) Campbell and grew up on the family farm at Chater, Manitoba. He attended Clinton School, Elton Collegiate and graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Agriculture. He was employed by the federal government for 37 years. In his younger years, Jim was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

In accordance with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an interment will take place at a later date at the Basswood Cemetery, Basswood, Manitoba.

The family thanks the MAiD team for the care and compassion they gave to Jim.
