I have thought of Josie so many times. We grew up together on farms very close to each other. We had several lovely visits when we came to Winnipeg to visit family. She was such a kind, generous lady. Always giving so much of her time and energy to others. May she Rest In Peace! To you, her family I extend my deepest sympathy - Posted by: Jolana Dusik (Krizak) (Family Friend) on: Mar 20, 2023

"We are in this time and place for a short time. We observe, we learn and we love. And then we go home." May you be embraced with peace and love by those who have gone before. My sympathies and condolences to all of Mrs. Bednar's family. - Posted by: Tony Bielik (Friend) on: Feb 25, 2023

I will always remember the warm welcomes I received in the BEDNAR home when visiting my friend, Gladys. Mrs. Bednar always had a smile on her face and was a pleasure to talk to. She was a pillar of the Arondale community and did much for the school and church. May you rest in peace, Mrs. Bednar. - Posted by: Josie Landry (Friend) on: Feb 22, 2023

I have many memories of my my godmother. She was a wonderful person. When my parents sold the farm and moved to the city, I would stay out at the farm and hang out with Gloria. I remember sunflower seeds always served on the coffee table. The Bednar family were always so kind. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Sally Masesar(nee Gurican) (Goddaughter) on: Feb 22, 2023

Having 5 children meant you raised an eclectic group, all with diverse personalities and thoughts. As parents you either fell in or were left out! Falling in meant you were "cool" and that's how we could best describe Auntie Josie and Uncle Vlado....Just plain cool! Auntie Josie you will be missed here on this earth but gain comfort knowing you will be with Vlado again!.....And that is Cool!! - Posted by: Al and Emily Bedard (Aujt) on: Feb 22, 2023

I spent a lot of time at the Bednar home in Dufresne. Hanging out with my best friend, Pat, we had lots of sleep overs. I was happy to sleep over at her place because her mom was the best baker! She was always friendly and kind. My condolences to all of Mrs Bednar’s family. - Posted by: Sherry Rasmussen (Friend ) on: Feb 22, 2023
