PHILLIP CARRIERE
March 21, 1943 - February 21, 2023

Phillip Carriere, aged 79, passed peacefully at home on February 21, 2023.
Dad leaves behind his wife of 32 years Roselyne Dupuis; his children; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
As he wished, there will not be a formal service, and a family gathering and interment will occur this summer.
In Phil's memory, turn up the music and dance like nobody is watching.

Love you Dad, the pain is over.
May you rest in peace.
It's been a slice.

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • My sincerest condolences to Roselyne, Phil's close family and friends. Phil was the Ringmaster and Master of Ceremonies at the many BBQ events at Foyer Vincent. When I first moved in years ago, he took me aside and introduced me to everyone at the BBQ and I really appreciated that. He was a kind, gentle man but had a wicked sense of humor as I do - never a dull moment sitting out back of the building sharing stories, laughs and memories. Thank you Phil for your friendship, for making me laugh and smile and for always been the life of the party to many. You will be sorely missed but now that you are out of pain, I imagine you are entertaining them all up there! Whenever I think of you, I smile - what a gift my friend. - Posted by: Linda Broesky (Friend and giggle partner at Foyer Vincent.) on: May 01, 2023

  • Phil was a great friend. We grew up in the same area with same friends. Partied together. I lived at 569 St. Anne's Rd across from Riel Park. We danced at Glenlee C.C. at our Friday nite teen canteens. I knew your family. Phil thanks for the friendship and great memories growing up. God Bless. The Carriere you have my condolences and sympathies. See you on the other side Phil. In respected Love, Paul - Posted by: Paul L Lagimodiere (friend) on: Mar 15, 2023

  • I got to know Phil when my father was living at the same apartment block and Roselyne was managing the building. I enjoyed many meals with them there and would often have coffee with Phil when my Dad and I ran into him at A&W. Phil had a great sense of humour, always leaving us in good spirits after visiting with him. I am so sorry for your loss Roselyne. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. - Posted by: Tammy Stark (friend) on: Feb 25, 2023
