It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved partner, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend, Ernie Miller, age 70, on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Health Sciences Centre (HSC) in Winnipeg after a four year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his partner, Billie; siblings, Marlene, Evelyn (Ken), Joan (Ken), Marjorie (Rob), Edward (Nancy); many nieces and nephews; Billie's children, grandchildren and family. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Jean; brothers and their spouses, Al (Marlene), Tubby (Dugan), and brother in-law Doug.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at Brookside Cemetery in early summer.
We would like to thank Dr. Graham, Dr. Orgaranko, the staff at CancerCare and the staff of HSC GD4 floor for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Manitoba Wildlife Federation.

  • Ernie will be missed! Such a lovely soul He will be especially missed this spring and every spring when we park our trailer and set up our satellite dish, he would help Joe and save many hours of dispute :) Always ready and willing to lend a hand! Our thoughts and prayers to his partner Billie and all his family - Posted by: Joe/ Michele D (Friend ) on: Mar 08, 2023

  • So sad to hear of Ernie’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. We had alot of fun with Ernie and the crew many moons ago. Ernie was always up for an adventure from four wheeling that ole Jeep Commando could go through anything to canoe trips, archery and Sunday morning curling just to name a few. Ernie was a gentle soul with a big heart. He will be missed. Bud and Kim Melnyk - Posted by: Bud & Kim Melnyk (Friend) on: Mar 04, 2023
