Though I did not get to know Grandpa Cameron until I was an adult due to my adoption I still have many fond memories of him and Nell. When we lived in Manitoba we spent many Sundays at church with them as well as going for lunch. They were a huge support to us and we loved spending time with both of them, He just had so many wonderful stories to share and wisdom to impart. They also came out to our place many years ago in Calgary around the time our second son was born which would be the last time we met in person. We had lost touch but thankfully reconnected in the last 6 months and for that I am very thankful. Many condolences to the rest of the family who I wish I could have met. My husband is a nephew of Ray and Nell from Aunt Nell’s side of the family — son of Aunt Nell’s late sister, Lydia. I’ve always thought so much of him. He treated Aunt Nell like a queen. He was always wanting us to stay with them when we visited Winnipeg. We shared many meals together and lots of talking. My husband appreciated his guidance and wisdom when he was the POA and Executor for Aunt Nell’s brother. They had many phone conversations and my husband looked up to him. I’m so thankful they saw each other several months ago and they were able to see Aunt Nell together that day. He had a huge heart and was always helping others. His love and care for Aunt Nell was especially inspirational. I will always remember him fondly. He will be greatly missed by us. My condolences to Aunt Nell, the Cameron Family, his church family, and to all who loved him and knew him through his many involvements. - Posted by: Tammy Oberlin (Niece-in-law) on: Mar 18, 2023

Condolences to the family. I had the pleasure to catch up to Raymond within the past year through mutual Kenn and Babs Green. We had a wonderful visit in the dining room at Lions Place, where he looked at my Stitt family history book, and we reminisced about life in Rossburn. It was a very interesting time. I enjoyed his stories so much. Sorry I didn't get to visit another time. Rest in peace, dear friend. - Posted by: Gerald R. Brown (Friend) on: Mar 18, 2023
