Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • I enjoyed many years working along with Bob at Senior Management meetings and when he visited our Branch in Wawanesa!! Very fine fellow with a great sense of dry humour!! My favourite memory was Bob attending Centennial celebrations for our Company in 1996 in the Village of Wawanesa—Bob was one of the first to volunteers to pitch sheaves into the old thrashing machine demo!! He went at it with such enthusiasm it seemed he was a born farmer!! My sincere condolences to all Bob’s family. • Ardythe, I am so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I enjoyed the time listening to his stories, especially those trips to New Orleans. Bob was a wonderful mentor at Toastmasters that inspired us all. - Posted by: Joanne Hampson (Worked with Bob at Wawanesa) on: Apr 04, 2023

  • Bob and I worked together earlier in my career. He was a member of my staff. He was a smart guy and could be relied on to solve challenging problems. He also understood how to create boundaries around his work so that he protected what was important to him, his family. He had a good sense of humour. I send my condolences to Ardythe and Bob's family. - Posted by: Philip Townsend (Former work colleague) on: Apr 01, 2023
