Peacefully, with family by his side, John passed away at St. Boniface Hospital Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 12, 2023, at the age of 94.
He is survived by son David (Betty), daughter Julie (Moses Sodomsky), son Michael (Jolyne), twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private family service will take place.
