DALE SLOBODIAN

With heartache and sorrow we announce the passing of Dale Slobodian on March 24, 2023.

He will be dearly missed by daughter Macara; mother Adel; sister Suzanne Marquette (Randy) and his nephew Austin Lavallee (Payton).

He was predeceased by his father Ronald in 2014.

Dale grew up in Garden City. After graduation, he pursued telecommunications at Red River Community College and spent his entire career in the industry.

Dale had passion for all sports. He played baseball and hockey in his early years, pursuing golf later and following in his dads’ footsteps as an armchair coach to local sports teams. It was not uncommon for Dale to be watching three games at once.

Dale and Macara shared a special bond. He would do anything for her: scoring sought after concert tickets, marathon movie nights, sourcing the best steaks, chocolates and ice cream cakes.

Cremation has taken place, interment and service is planned for a later date.

In keeping with his wishes, please consider donations to CNIB or Heart and Stroke foundation.
