Born in southern Manitoba, lived in Winnipeg for most of her life.
Predeceased by mother Mary; father Bedford; sister Dot (Bob); brother Bill (Othella) and husband of 37 years, Bob.
Survived by daughters, Carol and Donna; granddaughter Mara (Dan); great-granddaughters, Abbie, Lizzie, Becky and son Barry (Michelle).
Thank you to staff and friends at Catherine Place. Thank you also to Dr. Ciecierski, Dr. Kim, Dr. Graham, Dr. Heindricks, Dr. Wiebe and nurse Rhonda, as well as all the caring staff who looked after her.
Donations may be made in Irene’s name to Canadian Cancer Society.
