AUGUST FREDRICH SACHVIE
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father August Sachvie on April 17, 2023, at Tuxedo Villa, at the age of 90.
He was predeceased by his father, mother and twelve siblings.
August will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Irma of 68 years, their son Blair (Cheryl) and daughter Mindy (Norm), by his grandchildren Belinda (Tyler), Curtis (Ariel), Devyn (Blake) and Dayne (Taylor) and by his great-grandchildren Hayden, Wayne, Casey, Ethan, and Scott.
A memorial service will be held on April 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. For those who wish to view the service virtually, please contact the funeral home for the link between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Tuxedo Villa Unit 3 for their kindness and compassionate care for Dad.

I was deeply saddened to hear of August's passing. I will always remember his warm smile and the love he had for his church. Irma, you were a very special person because you cared deeply for everyone, especially for August and your wonderful children Blair and Mindy. You will always miss August, He has finished the first part of his journey and has now gone safely in the arms of Jesus where there is eternal peace and joy.
