Violet was born in Windsor Berkshire, England to Frank and Gladys Wilkins, making a family of four children: Bob, Joyce, Vi and Don.
She married Kenneth R. Walsh on November 14, 1953 in Slough, England. For a better life, they took a boat to Canada with a cat and dog.
They came to Winnipeg in 1965. Her daughter Gloria was born.
Her hugs and smiles will be missed!
She is survived by her husband Kenneth, daughter Gloria (Karl), their cat Lady Jane, and her younger brother Don and his family in England.
Thank you to all her friends and the staff at Deer Lodge and Portsmouth Retirement Residence for all your support and love.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Deer Lodge or any pet rescue centre.
