LAURA MCCHARLES
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Laura at the age of 74.
Laura is survived by her husband of 55 years, Terry McCharles; children, Cindy and Michael (Marlayna); grandchildren, Andrew (Katrina), Matthew, Tessa (Brett), Keenan, Brett, Saira and great-grandson Hunter. Laura will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Marion, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Anavets Unit 283, 3584 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.

Although we were both members of the same ANAVETS Unit here in Winnipeg I didn't meet Laura until last September. I once had the privilege of sitting beside Laura at one of the CVMS Sunday breakfasts and although she was struggling with memory loss, I could tell how intelligent and special she was, I thoroughly enjoyed that Sunday morning breakfast because she was there, I wish I had known her longer.
