CAESAR MARCEL ROELAND
Caesar passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023, at the Foyer Valade nursing home.
Predeceased by Marie Jeanne, his loving wife of 64 years, Caesar leaves to mourn his children, Judy (Don), Robert (Leslee), Debbie (Linton), Darlene (Mario), Daniel (Dianne) and Cheryl (Perry). Grandpa was deeply loved by. and proud of his 14 grandchildren, Erin (Ian), Megan (Scott), Kristen (Drew), David (Noushin), Jennifer (Michael), Catherine (Jordan), Brett, Dayna, Lauren (Colin), Carmen (Cameron), Tyson (Tanisha), Reece, Paden and Avery. He also took great joy in his great-grandchildren, Nolan, Remington and Skye, Lucas, Branson and Anders and Violet.
Dad was a farmer all his life. In 1956 he married Jean, the love of his life, and together raised their family on their dairy and grain farm, winning many dairy production awards. Dad and Mom also enjoyed travelling, and spending winters in Arizona, Belgian and lawn bowling, dancing, curling and playing cards, but most of all good times with family and friends.
Dad was incredibly strong and fought so hard to be with us. Dad, your work here on earth is done. We will miss you dearly, but we are happy to know that you are finally reunited with your sweetheart, our mom - Jean.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon, May 31, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church; details will follow.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Dad’s memory may be made to the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba at Strokerecovery.ca or a charity of one’s choice.
