It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Maureen Janet Gebel (nee Hall), on June 2, 2023, with her children at her side.
Maureen was predeceased by her husband, Werner, and her brother Terry. She will be remembered with love by her son Trevor (Edwina) and daughter Tania (Darrin), grandchildren Mathew, Miriam and Silas and her brother Bruce (Sharon).
Maureen was born on July 18, 1945 in Fort William (now Thunder Bay), Ontario, the daughter of Harold and Janet (nee McLellan) Hall. She grew up in Terrace Bay, Ontario before moving to Winnipeg to attend college.
Maureen and Werner were married in 1967 and raised their family in Charleswood, where they made many good friends during the 50 years they spent there.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
