Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • We, your family from across the miles - wish to send our condolences, thoughts of comfort and love, and our sincerest sadness. Frank made a huge impression on me as a very young child. Bev married Frank and then I got to meet him and I could see how happy she was and that was good enough for me and then I realized how much fun he was. He made me laugh from age 5 to age 55! Frank taught me so much without even trying. When I was really little Frank brought me a present of a smiling guy's head, made out of felt and he told me his name was Frank (I loved that guy). I can remember Frank's head making me smile especially in the dark days after my father (Bev's uncle) passed away. Every chance I got to see Frank, I soaked up his kindness, simplicity, and pure childish joy. He set a high standard to follow with the importance he consistently demonstrated on community, respect, trust, honour, faith, honesty, family, and health. How he treated my beautiful cousin Bev made a huge impression and any potential mates who came my way over the years had to meet or exceed that level of care (it took A LONG TIME TO FIND). The image of Frank that often comes to my mind is Frank at the Winnipeg Parliament building as he popped up on the stair railing outside and rode it to the bottom of the stairs. How can one human being embody so much goodness? He lit up the world with his funny. He will be loved forever, and missed just as long. - Posted by: Wendy Malcom (cousin-in-law) on: Jul 19, 2023

  • So sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. He was always cheerful whenever I encountered him and he was a great musician. It was very sad to hear of how home bound he was during the past few years. He is now free to be who God intended him to be. I am sorry that I missed being at his funeral but I am away in Toronto on vacation. My sincere condolences to you Bev and all your family. - Posted by: Sally Young (Friend from church) on: Jun 28, 2023
