Peacefully following a lengthy Illness surrounded by her family and with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Jeannette. Jeannette passed into glory July 10, 2023 at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her five boys, Joseph, Wayne (Tina), John (Sandy), Michael (Shirley) and Jamie (Christine). She also leaves behind her precious fur baby Nikki, who she loved dearly and special fur friend Gunner. She is survived by her sisters, Helen (Henry), Lorraine (Bruce); brother Edward (Claudette); 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1995; five brothers, one sister, and her daughter-in-law Valerie.
Special thanks to her Palliative Care Team - Jill, Dr. Reimer and the 1st Floor Nursing Staff at the Bethesda Hospital for their care and compassion throughout her journey.
Funeral Rite service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1500 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy #1 East at Navin Road.
