IRENE KATHERINE LANDRY
It is with great sadness our family announces that our Mother passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She is now reunited with Dad Larry; her parents, Olga Bakuska and Micheal Pylypas and her brother William (Bill).
She will be missed by her children, Glenn (Suzanne), Judi, Cathy and three grandchildren, Randi (Kris), Rene, Pierre (Stacy).
Mom dedicated much of her life to a career she loved with Plummer’s Arctic Fishing Lodges spanning over 50 years. She was a member of the Norwood St. Boniface Legion and served on the Ladies Auxiliary for 45 years. She held many positions ending with the position of Treasurer for the last 25 years. Mom was an avid Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets fan her whole life. Bingo was also one of her favourite pastimes. We hope that if there is bingo in Heaven, Mom wins the big one.
Thanks to Cathy, Mom was able to receive the best possible care. We would like to extend our gratitude to Shelley, Kristin and Mandy who came and tended to her with such kindness and compassion.
Respecting Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.

Irene was always so welcoming to me. She put together such lovely holiday diners, and made me feel like one of the family. I'll miss her dry sense of humour and always appreciated the double cheek kiss on my way out(because I'm french, she'd say) - Posted by: Kris (Grandson in law) on: Aug 13, 2023
