ELMIRE FIOLA
Peacefully, at the age of 89 years, Elmire passed away at the Villa Youville, in Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
Mom was born to Paul and Valentine Morin of Ste. Geneviève, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband Pierre Fiola.
Left to mourn is Mom's sister, Edmonde; Mom's loving children, Gérard, Paul, Marcel, Rachelle (Jim), Emile, Denise (Guy), and Colette (Leigh); and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mom was a loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, colouring with her grandchildren, and Bingo. She also liked hosting big meals, singing, and $1.44 days at Woolco. Mom worked at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, for 16 years.
The family would like to thank Soeur Rioux and Villa Youville staff for the care they have provided for our mom.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Anne, MB, with Father Serge Buissé presiding. Cremation will follow and interment of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in Ste. Geneviève, MB.
