HARRY BECK
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather (known as Papa), at the age of 68. With his loving wife Darlene and his family by his side, Harry fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 35 years, Darlene; sons, Jamie (Brittany), Corey (Kailey); daughters, Melanie and Amanda; several grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Harry was predeceased by his precious daughter Maureen; parents, Harry T. Beck and Anne Beck; brothers, Gordon and Morley Beck; parents-in-law, William and Margaret Shawaga and brother-in-law Peter Pryma.
Harry had many passions, including hunting, fishing, mechanical work, welding and spending time at his hometown (Fisherton) where he owned property. He was always willing to share his knowledge with others. When one made the mistake of arguing with him, he was generally right. Throughout his working life he worked as a diamond driller, fitter welder, mechanic, school bus driver and finished driving a rock truck. Harry played an endless list of songs on his guitar, coached baseball and always made sure the beer was cold and the stories were flowing with friends and family.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Roman Catholic Parish of St. Paul The Apostle, 2400 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB on September 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Sending condolences to Darlene and family… I know how much he will be missed…my heart goes out you all… memories of him playing guitar, singing, laughter and fishing out at the lake.. he always had such a smile on his face when he playing guitar and singing… he was such a wonderful caring man..
