Date of Passing: Aug 31, 2023
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINGE KRETSCHMANN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of this beautiful soul, Inge Kretschmann at Riverview Health Centre on August 31, 2023.
Inge leaves to mourn her son Steven; partner Roy Beales and family; sister Angelika Kirchner; brother Norbert Kirchner (Cynthia) and family; as well as many friends.
Inge enjoyed life to the fullest and was loving her retirement. Her happy place was her home and her love of the outdoors, which revealed itself in her beautiful backyard garden that looked like a park in the summer. Inge and Roy enjoyed many fun times, fishing with good friends at the Lake Manitoba Narrows, as well as walking the sandy beaches and camping at Lake Winnipeg. Even in cold weather, you could find Inge and Roy exploring the trails in the Whiteshell near Pine Point. Inge and Roy loved dancing, especially at the Forever Young Club dances and their favourite legions. She could dance a mean jive to the “oldies.”
Inge will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

We worked with Inge for many years at Liquid Carbonic/Praxair. Inge was a force to be reckoned with when it came to her job. Hard working, extremely loyal and dedicated as an employee. She was so excited for her retirement and she loved every minute of it. As a friend Inge was loyal and caring. Always bringing us little gifts to us in the office. What a kind and generous person. We had so many laughs and boy did I love her infectious laugh. She was a fantastic person and I will miss her. Another gone too soon. Rest in Peace Dear friend. You’ll have beautiful flower gardens in heaven to give your magic touch to. Deepest sympathies to Roy, son Steven and all family. - Posted by: Cindy & Shane Anderson (Friends/co Coworkers) on: Sep 12, 2023

We are so sorry to read of Inge's passing. What a battle she waged with cancer over the past year and a halfish. Before she became ill, she and Roy were such supportive neighbours to our mother, Wilma, and to others, following through on her mantra that "we all help each other." What a lovely person, through and through. Our condolences to Roy and Steven. - Posted by: Shirley & Bill Jenken (Daughter & son-in-law to neighbour, Wilma Verstappen) on: Sep 10, 2023
