In loving memory
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucille Jeanson (Lucy, Nunu), on October 30, 2023, at 69 years young. She was predeceased by father Clovis Jeanson and infant siblings, Robert and Lucille.
Lucille's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and devotion. She is survived by her adoring son, Ryan Jeanson, who was not only her pride but also her constant source of joy. Lucille found immense happiness in the loving partnership Ryan shared with his wife, Louane, and she cherished the moments they spent together as a family. Their love and bond were a testament to the strong family ties that Lucille held dear. Her grandsons, Malyk and Yan Jeanson, brought immeasurable joy in their laughter and presence. She nurtured their spirits with her wisdom, and her love will continue to guide them as they grow into fine young men.
Lucille's dedication to her family: mother Louise Jeanson, sisters, Jeanine (George), Jeannette, Anne-Marie (Brian), and brother Richard (Terry), along with her nieces and nephews was unending, and her love for them shone brightly in every moment they shared. They will miss her deeply.
Lucille was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her compassion and generosity were a source of comfort and solace to those in need, including foster children she took under her wing.
While we mourn the loss of Lucille, we remember her sense of humour. When presented with adversity, in situations where most would choose to cry, Lucille always chose laughter. Her love of card games and bingo created many opportunities to gather with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life to honour Lucille Jeanson will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 774 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB.

Mostly, I remember Lucille from when we were just kids and our families would gather. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to visit with her and Anne-Marie when we just happened to be at the same place, at the same time. It was great to catch up and it gives me a lasting memory of her as an adult. My sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Evelyn Dutka (Cousin) on: Nov 07, 2023

My deepest condolences to Lucille's friends and family. Lucille was Auntie Nunu to our daughter Kami, who she cared for from age 18 months until 3 years when we adopted Kami. Kami absolutely adored Auntie Nunu and is sad to learn of her passing. Lucille helped prepare Kami expertly for the transition to our home and generously shared many gifts to help Kami with the big change to her new home. She became a friend and mentor to me as a parent. We visited many times since Kami has been with us. She was always to kind, generous and sweet. She made the most beautiful memory photo book for Kami, with photos of Kami's time with her and Uncle Renald, who we miss dearly. May she rest in peace and the knowledge how much she is loved. She will live on in all who knew her. - Posted by: Molly McCracken (friend) on: Nov 05, 2023

I am proud to be a member of the same large, loud loving group of Jeanson cousins. Lucille and I often ended up playing together at family get togethers because we were the same age and shared the same name so we just naturally gravitated to each other. Losing a mom and sibling is hard and my thoughts and prayers are with you Ryan, matante Louise, Richard, Jeanine, Jeanette and Anne-Marie. Her pain and suffering is over and she can now rest easy… the other Lucille - Posted by: Lucille Wilcott (Cousin) on: Nov 04, 2023
