BRUCE ALLEN HENDRICKS

May 29, 1970 - December 8, 2023

We are saddened to announce that on December 8, 2023, Bruce peacefully passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 53.

Bruce was predeceased by his mother Jarice (1935-2013) and just recently, his father Anthony (1933-2023).

Bruce had a great passion for photography and a great love for animals. He worked as professional photographer for over 35 years and had become the most decorated photographer in Manitoba history. He also had a great love and compassion for animals, both as a pet photographer and as a cat owner his entire adult life.

Bruce was a loyal and trusted friend to many of us. His humour and great story telling will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Riverview Health Center who were extremely compassionate and caring for Bruce over the past few weeks. Your kindness and professionalism were so much appreciated.

Funeral Services will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB on Monday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dear Brother Bruce, Throughout our lifetime, we disagreed and argued, even during those times my love for you was always there. We shared some beautiful times together, like going on our Sunday trips out of town with Dad to discover new restaurants, where you mostly ordered a cheeseburger with lots of napkins. I know you are now out of pain and I hope at peace with Mom and Dad. You achieved what you wanted to be, the very successful creative photographer. People recognize you as one of the BEST. I am sorry I hurt you. I love you and will miss you.♥️Bev. - Posted by: Bev Lynne Kliewer (Sister ) on: Dec 18, 2023
