Kim Adams, age 52, passed suddenly on January 5, 2024. Kim was born in Brandon, Manitoba on September 28, 1971, to Joyce (Poole) and Blair Slater. She graduated from Crocus Plains in 1989 and later received her Early Childhood Education degree from ACC. Kim spent over 20 years in the field of Early Childhood Education. Kim loved working with and teaching children, and there wasn’t a silly children’s song she didn’t know. She was an avid music lover and could beat anyone in a “Name That Tune” trivia game. She will always be a “Jessie’s Girl” as she had great love for her favourite artist Rick Springfield.
Predeceased by her parents, she is lovingly remembered by her daughters Hannah and Karsyn, and spouse Ron Adams; sister Karey (Mike) Loftus, and many more nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Kimmie’s life will be occurring at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shared Health Manitoba (formerly AFM) with a note to gift to Brandon AFM, Addictions and Mental Health, or to a charity of your choice.
