Laura passed away at the Boyne Lodge, Carman, on Wednesday, February 14. She is survived by her husband, Neil, two sons and their families, and one sister.
Laura made the decision to become a Christian at the age of nine and used her many gifts to serve the Lord. She married Neil in 1964 and was often involved in the children’s ministries and the music in the churches where he was the pastor. She enjoyed her role as a pastor’s wife and was a great support to him.
Laura was also a substitute teacher for about 26 years. In retirement she volunteered at the local MCC Shop, and also led a singing group which sang in the local hospital and the Lodge.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Community Church, Carman.
