I am saddened to hear about Chris's passing. We something forget that 1 out of 1 will also pass into eternity at some point. Chris was always a very professional coworker and I worked with him on the same floor for a few years. I regret not sharing my story of how my Lord, Saviour and King Jesus transformed my life and has given me so much joy and purpose despite of what happens out of my control. I hope that his family will experience the peace that only Jesus the Prince of Peace brings, especially during this difficult time. - Posted by: Cindy Ramirez (Coworker) on: Apr 18, 2024

Deeply saddened to hear of Chris' passing...while I hadn't talked to him in many years, I was part of a group that used to go for lunches together. His quick wit, humour, and honest nature are qualities that I will always remember. My thoughts are with his family and friends, and I hope they can find peace and healing. - Posted by: Nicole (Friend/Coworker) on: Apr 12, 2024

The news of your passing has hit in waves, Chris. You carried kindness, self-awareness, humility, and gratitude for those around you. You always found a silver lining in challenges, always did your best to continue moving forward. You introduced me to our favourite downtown hidden gem - Famenas Famous Roti, where we'd get rotis the size of our heads and listen to the animated conversations of the owners together. You spoke of Morgan and your life's journey with both tremendous love and honest vulnerability. You carried so much adversity, yet you always held space, had a smile and a hug, and looked towards every new day. I am heartbroken that we didn't get to have another Famenas lunch date together, that it kept being pushed to "next week". I'm sorry. We hope to be able to give our respects to you with your loved ones, and if not possible, we will hold time in your honour. Thank you for being a part of our lives, and I hope that you are finally given the peace you so deserved and strived for in life. With love, Bryanne. - Posted by: Bryanne (Friend & Co-worker) on: Apr 08, 2024

I am heartbroken. Chris & I worked together for 6 years when we both worked in the same department. Chris & I talked daily. Even after I moved departments, we maintained our Friendship. We would email back & forth, we'd make plans to meet up. Lunches downtown, coffees on Corydon, walks around Whittier Park. Chris was always interested in my Life and he loved hearing what my son was up to. Chris loved photography. He loved music. He was gentle. He was kind. He had a wonderful sense of humor. I miss him already but I can take comfort in knowing he is finally at peace. My sincerest condolences to his Family. To Morgan, your dad always spoke highly of you. He cherished all the times you & him spent together. Rest easy, My Friend. Judy & Kurt - Posted by: Judy (Friend, Co-worker) on: Apr 08, 2024

Chris; You were kind, funny, smart, sincere, searching, afflicted, caring. May you now rest in the hands of Him to whom you so often turned your piercing questions, frustrations, and hopes. May we be comforted in this time of loss, learning how to go on in your absence. May we remember, from you, our need for help and the blessing of vulnerable friendships. Your friend.
