After a long struggle with Alzheimer's mom has passed on to the home of the Lord.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Jack; sister Sandra; daughter Darlene; and spouse Bill.
She is survived by her children, Glen and Kathleen (Kevin); grandchildren, Cole and Quinn (Rain); and great-granddaughter Fern.
She was loved by many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Mom graduated from nursing school on May 19, 1961. Her parents were so proud of her. While in nursing school mom made many friends who lasted her lifetime.
Patricia had a great love for the outdoors, whether she was spending summers in Pointe du Boise with her grandparents, at her cousin's cabin in Grand Marais, or golfing, canoeing, skiing, skating, swimming, gardening, or going to the beach, any beach. Mom loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Patricia dedicated her life to taking care of others. Her patients, her family members, and anyone she knew and loved. She never had a negative thing to say about anyone and was always respectful and kind. All who knew her were truly blessed.
Endless thanks to my brother Glen McOuat who kept her at home as long as possible and to the Lion’s Manor Staff for taking care of her for the last two and a half years.
Memorial service will be Monday, July 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive with reception to follow.
