It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Rod who passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on August 6, 2024 at the age of 81 years.
He is survived by his common-law partner Jeanette, two sons, Jason (Jolene) and Randy, grandchildren, Shaeleigh, Aaden, Austin and Danielle, along with his siblings, Lori, Danny and Hanley.

The Franz family, Jean, Kelly, Donna, Bob and Mac and partners wish to extend our condolences to Jeannette and family, Rod's sons and brothers and sisters. We were saddened to hear the news of Rod's passing. We enjoyed visiting at the lake at Spruce Bay and other gatherings. We know Rod will be sadly missed. We had 30 wonderful years, road trips, winter vacations to many warm locations, bus trips to casinos, trip to Amsterdam. Lots of laughs over the years,cooking meals together. I miss you every day.
