June 27, 1941 - October 9, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alice Dianna Small on October 9, 2024 at Holy Family Home in Winnipeg at the age of 83 years.

Born in Winnipeg, Alice lived a life devoted to her family. She grew up in Transcona and graduated from Transcona High School. She enjoyed music which included playing the piano, joining a hand bell choir and singing in Ukrainian choirs.

She will be missed by her husband of 57 years, Richard; her children, Andrew (Kerry), Nicole (Dino), Thomas (Laura); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Mackenna and Ericka; her brother Alfie; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sophie Fass; two brothers, Tony and Walter and sister Mary.

A special thank you to Holy Family Home who took excellent and compassionate care of Alice for the short time she was there.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Bohdan Lukie officiating. Alice will be resting at Holy Family Cemetery.
