It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dorrie Kitchen (nee Platt) on October 12, 2024. Dorrie is lovingly remembered by her husband Harry, her daughters: Suzanne (Adam), Kathryn (Mark), and grandchildren: Lucas, Reese and Chase. Dorrie's great sense of humor, unwavering love for family and friends, kindness and giving heart will forever be missed.
A celebration of Dorrie's life will be held at St. Lukes Zion Lutheran Church, 2903 McPhillips Street on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. Dorrie, my sister Pinky and I grew up together and shared so many good times. We sang together and laughed at one another. Our times at Jessica Lake were full of fond memories. Our mothers went to school together and I have always considered Dorrie and Bill to be part of extended family. With love.
