Peacefully on December 1, 2024 our mother Muriel Collins passed away at the age of 99 years with her family nearby.
Muriel was predeceased by her father John Kerr and mother Leontine Kerr (nee Dumma). Also predeceasing her was her husband Roderick (Rod) Collins.
Mom was very proud of her Scottish heritage. Muriel and Rod were married in 1944 and shortly after the Second World War moved to 745 Harbison Avenue in Elmwood where they raised their four boys.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ken (Chris), Frank (Janet), Mike (Gloria) and Curtis (Wendy) as well as her grandchildren, Kevin (Karly), Brian, Jennifer (Casey), Susan (Cam), Sean (Ashley), Matthew (Kayla) and Andrew (Dayna). She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren.
The Collins family would like to thank the staff at Lions Personal Care home for the care provided.
In accordance with Mom’s wishes there will be no formal service.
